He was predeceased by: his parents, Sebie Watts and Louise Stroupe Watts; and his granddaughter Breann Kirkpatrick. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Watts; his daughters, Nicole Watts and Shelly Kirkpatrick (Tim); his grandchildren, Kayla Montijo (Nick), Morgan Watts, Stephen Watts, Haylee Watts and Levi Kirkpatrick; his great grandchildren, Hayston Montijo Barrett Devine, Emberly Montijo and Mattlee Medlin; and his sister Joy Carpenter. He is also survived by family dearly, especially his grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery (1508 Charles Raper Jonas Hwy, Mt Holly, NC 28120).
