He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence P. Smith and Mary Parker Smith. He is survived by: his children, SharonTalley (Gene), Todd Smith (Elizabeth), Fonda Lawing and Tammy Wikholm (Craig); and his siblings, Larry Smith, Terry Smith, Wanda Waters and Diane Gilliam. He is also survived by six grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Faith Baptist Church (1224 Mayberry Rd, Dallas, NC 28034). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
