With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Raymond Henry Vernon Jr. of Dallas, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Raymond Henry shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Raymond Henry farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Henry Vernon Sr. and Sarah Elizabeth Williams; and his grandparent Woods Vernon (Effie Bolick Vernon). He is survived by: his wife Eva Vernon; and his half-sister Juanita Goins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Carothers Funeral Home of Dallas At (212 W Trade St, Dallas, NC 28034). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
