He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ervin Clinton and Grace Ballard Clinton; and his wife Patricia Summey Clinton. He is survived by: his children, Joey Clinton (Belinda) and Kristin Clinton; his grandchildren, Brandon Childers (Maddie), Caleb Childers (Jessica), Heather McSwain and Dustin Gibson; and his great grandchild Kendal McSwain. He is also survived by father to his two children.
