He is survived by: his wife Erma Carrigan Clemmer; his daughter Wanda Waddell (Jack); his grandchildren, Travis Bates (Lori), Whitney Smith (Brendon) and Bart Bates; and his sisters, Margie Abernathy and Nancy Rohm.
