It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Ratchford (Dallas, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on March 26, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Brady W. Ratchford, Sr.; her husband Joe Friday, Sr.; and her brothers, Robert and Gene Ratchford. She is survived by: her children, Joe "Jody" Friday Jr. (Kelly), Kim Norwood (Major), Sandy Ann Hunter (Vince) and Lou Ellen Cloninger (John); her siblings, Brady W. Ratchford, Jr. and Margaret Addington; her grandchildren, Stephen Major "Beau" Norwood, Jr. (Wendy), Abbey Norwood Blake (Jonathan), Lauren Ashley Norwood-Norman (Stephen), Shelby Elizabeth Friday, Drew Carlson, Reid Carlson, Jared Hunter, Ryan Hunter, Tyler Clark (Ashley) and Justin Clark; and her great grandchildren, Stephen Major "Tripp" Norwood, III, Addison Norwood, Ella Hunter, Madison, Savanna, Bentley, Mark Clark and Wyatt Humphries.
