He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Furr and Hazel Furr; his sisters, Cathy and Wanda Furr; and his stepgrandson Jonathan Cope.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Johnson Furr; his children, Scottie Furr (Barbara), Tammy Moore (Mike), J. C. Furr (Ashley) and Lisa Furr; his stepchildren, Kenneth Smith (Wendy), Theresa Black, Sandy Craven (Grady) and Tracy Cope (Richard); and his sister Nancy Whitely (Don). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; thirteen step grandchildren, and seventeen step great grandchildren.
