He was predeceased by: his parent Morrison Burgess. He is survived by: his parent Lillian Burgess; and his children, Timothy Max Burgess (Donna), Dawn Burgess Cloninger, James Morrison Burgess (Lisa) and Rhonda Jane Burgess Waldrop (Greg). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
