She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cape and Beulah Mae Hurt Cape; her husband Harold "Dean" Hedgepath; and her son Tony Hedgepath. She is survived by: her children, David Hedgepath (Sue) of Dallas, NC, Jeff Hedgepath (Diane) of Tennessee, Scott Hedgepath of Gastonia, NC, Whitey Hedgepath (Wendy) of Waco, NC, Cindy Childress (Mike) of Dallas, NC, Connie Johnson of Blacksburg, SC and Karen Nipper (Danny) of Oakridge, TN.
