We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2021, at the age of 89, Lois Summey of Dallas, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eli Abernathy and Annie Brown Abernathy of Stanley; and her siblings, Ollie Mae Helms, Mary Katherine Boggs, Bill, Sonny, Mick and Don Abernathy.
She is survived by: her husband Gertis L. Summey, Jr.; her sons, Randy Summey (Carolyn) and Davey Summey (June); her grandchildren, Barry Summey (Kristy), Derek Summey (Alisha), Jamie Crisp (Michael), Josh Dawson (Allison) and Caleb Dawson; and her siblings, Bob (Jane), Ben (Marie) and Becky Shelton. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
