It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ken Ratchford of Dallas, North Carolina, who passed away on January 8, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Ratchford and Edo Froneberger Ratchford; his daughter Vicki R. Cloninger; his grandchildren, Travis Crowe and Emily Cloninger; his siblings, Thelma Jenkins, Carolyn Miller and Ray Ratchford; and the mothers of children, Claudette Moody Ratchford Ken and AB.
He is survived by: his children, Kenny Ratchford (Catherine M. Fuentes), Roxann R. Jimison (Scott) and Roma R Byrd (Rogie); his close friend Cindy Roberts; his stepsons, Scott Reese (Becca) and David Reese (Sherri); his grandchildren, Amy Payne, Danielle Walls, Devin Saunders, Chad Burtrum, Jayson Burtrum, Laura Ratchford, Kinley Ratchford and Ryan Posey; his great grandchildren, Taylor, Austin Strandridge, Kailey, Ayden Butler, Blake and Sydnee Walls; his great great grandchildren, Alexia, Haley, Stephanie, Anna Belle, Chad Burtrum, Jr., Talon and McKenna; and his friend Kay Withers.
