He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Kersey and Margaret Williams; and his brother Jimmy Griffin. He is survived by: his aunt Sara Griggs; his children, Mark S. Williams and Amanda; his son-in-law Skip Lawson; his grandchildren, April Frampton, Chris Lawson, Shauna Singleton, Andrew Conn and Autumn Pheagin; and his siblings, Ronnie Griffin, Roger Griffin, Danny Ray Griffin and Rose Abernathy. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston Baptist Church, 516 S. Gaston St., Dallas, NC 28034.
