She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Britton and Katherine Willis Britton; her siblings, Benny, Dan Britton and Gloria Britton Leonard; and her nephew Justin Britton.
She is survived by: her husband Harold "Blair" Hovis. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and had the joy of four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dallas Methodist Church (301 W Main St, Dallas, NC 28034). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
