It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Rudisill Lewis of Dallas, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on January 25, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Able Rudisill and Mae Hoyle Rudisill; her husband George Alvin Lewis; her sisters, Helen R. Withers and Sara R. Michael; and her sons-in-law, Bob Schafer and Mike Ledford.
She is survived by: her children, Mike (Amy Lewis), Lesa Lewis Schafer, Ann Lewis Ledford and Lynn (Chris Glover); her grandchildren, Adam Lewis, Laura Lewis, Jolee Lewis Lawson, Kelly Schafer Hepler, Robert "Robbie" Schafer, Taylor Arthur and McKenzie Glover; her great grandchildren, Schae, Presley Hepler, Ada Schafer, Dalton, Tenley Lawson and Cooper Greene; and her sister Mary Charles Brown.
