She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Barnes and Evelyn Burdette Barnes; her husband Walter M. Dye; and her daughter Catherine D. Spargo. She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Summey (Landon) and Heather Brabble (Daniel); her grandchildren, Jessica Blackman (Adam), Jonathan Summey, Brittany Cox, Landis Summey and Jennifer Hughes; her great grandchild Laura Blackman; her sisters, Jane Capps and Sue Dellinger (Tim); and her pet Kitty. She is also survived by numerous nieces and grandnieces.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hillview Baptist Church (403 Dallas Stanley Hwy, Dallas, NC 28034). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
