It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jewell Fugate Saylor of Dallas, North Carolina, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on July 26, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Shady Fugate and Alkie Saylor Fugate; her husband James Saylor; and her children, Peggy Sue Saylor and Timothy Saylor.
She is survived by: her children, Monte Gene Saylor (Gaye) and Yvonne Norwood; her sister Sandy Fugate; and her daughter-in-law Marlene Saylor. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
