He is survived by: his wife Sue Huss Moffett; his family, Sue Huss Moffett, David Allen Moffett (Catherine) and Robert Andrew Moffett (Angela); his grandchildren, Emily Moffett, Jonathan Buchanan and Faith Patrick; his great grandchildren, Andrew Patrick and Julian Buchanan; and his siblings, Joe Moffitt (Billie), Eva Coley, Susie McSwain, Velvie Jones, Thomas Moffitt and Bill Moffitt. He is also survived by his family, friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery (531 Hardin Rd, Dallas, NC 28034).
