He is survived by: his wife Mary Cox "Tippy" Mason; his daughters, Kathy M. Gallman (Charles) of Gastonia and Suzie M. Whatley (Michael) of Gastonia; his sisters, Hazel M. "Pug" Giles of Glenville, NC and Lynn M. Dennis (Terry) of Lakeland, FL; his sister-in-law Callie O. Mason of High Point, NC; and his grandchildren, Will Gallman (Haley) of Dell Rapids, SD, Mac Gallman of Gastonia, Michael Whatley of Gastonia, George Whatley of Gastonia and Mary Kate Whatley of Gastonia.
