He was predeceased by: his siblings, Junie B White, Robert Heffner, Dorothy Tilley and Bertha Mae Heffner. He is survived by: his wife Etta Morgan Heffner; his children, Joseph Heffner and Ashley Long (Jason); his grandchildren, Jaley Long and Amanda Long; and his siblings, Jerry Heffner (Mig) and Mary Heffner. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home (375 Woodlawn Ave, Mt Holly, NC 28120). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery (1508 Charles Raper Jonas Hwy, Mt Holly, NC 28120).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
