Edward Lee Gholson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2024, at the age of 82, Edward Lee Gholson (Dallas, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Briggs Gholson and Ruby Elizabeth Guthrie Gholson; his children, Gary Lee Gholson and Peggy Darlene Gholson; and his siblings, James, Earl, Bill, David, Pat Price, June Tucker and Carolyn Moller.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Jones Gholson; his daughter Kim Livingston (David R. Livingston, Jr.); his grandchildren, Lauren, Erin Livingston and Hannah Meadows (Trent); his brother Charlie Gholson (Wanda); and his sisters-in-law, Gloria Gholson and Marlene Friday. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hardin Community Baptist Church (548 Hardin Rd, Dallas, NC 28034). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hardin Community Church Building Fund, 548 Hardin Road, Dallas, NC 28034.
