It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Jean Norwood of Dallas, North Carolina, who passed away on February 11, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Taylor and Methia Calloway Taylor; and her husband Everett Norwood. She is survived by: her children, Ronald Martin, Jr. of Dallas, NC, Pat Burnette (Anthony) of Matthews, NC and Phyllis Wickham (Raymond II) of Cary, NC; her grandchildren, Kristen Rushing (DJ), Faith Ciampa (Matt), Brandon Burnette (Kim) and Raymond Wickham III (Liz); and her great grandchildren, Trevor, Brantley Rushing, Liam Ciampa, Caleb and Joshua Wickham.
