She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edgar Pearson and Vera Chapman Pearson; her brother Charles Dwight Pearson; and her pet Sassy. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Daniel Deal, Sr.; her children, Robin Pearson, Jacob Deal (Brittany), Patience Mills, Madison Mills and Sophie McDaniel; her stepchildren, Gerald Deal Jr., David Deal, Crystal, Jerry Lynn Jenkins and Julie Tilley; her sister Gloria Jenkins; and her grandson Liam Brezeale. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
