He is survived by: his mother Martha Sue Keever Cooley; his children, Michelle Lynne Cooley (Tabitha Hamilton) and Justin David Cooley; his grandchildren, Joshua Braswell, Matthew Braswell, Kelsey Bare and Elijah Cooley; his siblings, Wayne Cooley and Marie Petrea (Willie); and his stepson Aaron Fortson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
