He was predeceased by: his parents, William Coleman and Ida Bell Chavis. He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Pearl of Germany, Ida Victoria Shabazz of Dallas, NC and Aliyah Shabazz of Bowie, MD; and his sister Patrica Williams of Wilson, NC.
