He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett C. Canipe and Jean Wilson Anderson; and his brother Robert Terry Canipe. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Huskins Canipe; his children, Tiffney C. Murphy (Gene) and Jason B. Canipe (Melinda); his sister Kay Canipe; his stepmother Anne Canipe; his stepbrother Terry Lee Canipe; and his grandchildren, Caroline Murphy and Davin Canipe.
