She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Carlisle (T. C.) and Bess Kendrick Summer; her husband Glenn Davis Hunt of Dallas, NC; and her siblings, Carlyle Summer, Benjamin Summer, George Summer, Mary Helen Cargill and Margaret Wilkerson.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Hunt of Raleigh, NC, Marsha Efland (Douglas) of Efland, NC, Susan Miller of Waxhaw, NC, Robert Hunt (Merja) of Oak Island, NC and Marc Hunt of Charlotte, NC.; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Summer (Betsy) of Chapel Hill, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
