She was predeceased by: her husband LaRee Lynn; her son LaRee Lynn Jr.; her parents, Gladys Owens and Ernest Owens; and her siblings, Louis Owens, Rupert Owens, Ernest L Owens, Jr., Doc (Agnes), Leon Owens (Myra), Johnnie Owens (Sybil), Gertrude Owens Sawyer (Melvin), Mildred Owens Wright (Dan) and Reggie Owens (Irene).
She is survived by: her children, Terry Lynn (Sherry), Alan Lynn (Connie) and Cindy Staples (Wilson); her grandchildren, Wilson Staples (Julye), Amanda Staples, Steven Lynn and Joshua Tipton (Ashley); and her great grandchild Sarah Sanchez. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
