We bid farewell to Shirley Ann Guntz of Currituck, North Carolina, born in Westville, New Jersey, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 20, 2024 at the age of 91. Shirley Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest J. Bice and Marjorie A. Bice; her siblings, Norma Bailey, Rose Mary Washington and Richard Warren; and her son-in-law Ronald B. Rakowski.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley A. Rakowski of Edenton, NC, Diane K. Ross (Glen) of Currituck, NC and John L. Guntz III (Cathy) of Virginia Beach, VA; her brother-in-law Howard Guntz of Somers Point, NJ; her grandchildren, Bryan Curtis Rakowski, Kelli Griggs (Dan), Justine Webb (Ricky), Katie Guntz and Nikki Guntz (Devin Gossett); and her great grandchildren, Aiden Gossett, Gavin Griggs, Camille Griggs, Nola Webb and Ripton Webb. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
