He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Jones, Sr. and Penny Simpson Jones. He is survived by: his wife Billie Jones (Kate); his children, Gale Lester, Tina Davis, Charlie Jones, Tracie Miller and Tameka Murray; and his siblings, Rufus Jones, Johnny Jones (Gloria) and Delos Jones.
