With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlie Lawrence Sutton Jr. (Currituck, North Carolina), who passed away on October 6, 2018 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his spouse Lotus Hickey Sutton; his daughters, Billy Jo Decker (George) of Elizabeth City, Cindy Phipps of Jacksonville, NC, Margaret Sanderlin of Elizabeth City, NC and Stella Duhaime (John) of Elizabeth City, NC; his son-in-law Jeff Sanderlin; and his sisters, Linda Sue Lawrence (Tommy) of Norfolk, VA, Alice Jean Lewis (Phil) of Harkers Island, NC and Virginia Jackson of Richlands, NC. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
