She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter H. Moseley and Margaret Walker Sharp; her brothers, Troy H. Moseley, Sr. (Fay Moseley) and David R. Phillips; and her grandson Zachary R. Preston.
She is survived by: her husband James Harold Hunt, Jr.; her pet Maggie; her daughters, Melanie Bock (Brian), Jerri Michele Gatewood (Richard Padgett), Palma Hayhurst (Robert), Victoria Fears (Jim) and Tina Midgett (Jamie); her siblings, Kathy Phillips and Hank Phillips (Janet); her sister-in-law Janet W. Phillips; and her grandchildren, Austin Bock (Hannah Hanuschak), Brianne Bock (Tyler Lyons), Nathan Smith (Shirley), Richard Gatewood (Charlotte Rose Barrett), Roseann Merrick (David), Christopher Hayhurst, Nickole Keister (Bobby), Justin Measley, Jessica Midgett and Anthony Midgett. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, and nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
A graveside service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens (4569 Shoulders Hill Rd, Suffolk, VA 23435). A reception was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:45 AM at 5100 Portsmouth Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23701.
