He was predeceased by: his father Edgar Oscar Fipps; and his siblings, Jerry Phipps, Roger Fipps, Elaine Manus, Betty Meredith and Judy James.
He is survived by: his siblings, Larry Fipps (Betty) and Tammy King; his nieces, Wanda Fipps and Terri McLamb (David); and his nephew Michael Cox. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews and many other family and friends.
