With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Danny Samuel Orr of Currie, North Carolina, who passed away on January 16, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David Bunting Orr and Elva Louise Bell Orr; his fiancée Kathy Stone; his children, Pamela Sue Orr (Brian Pickett) and Danny Steven Orr (Brooke); his grandchildren, Lynn Orr, Kaleb Barrineau, Madison Evans, Julie Kelly and Taylor Jacobs-Butler; and his siblings, Billy Orr (Linda Fennell) and Rachel Orr Crabb.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Currie Community Baptist Church (28396 State Hwy 210, Currie, NC 28435). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at the Malpass Cemetery.
