She was predeceased by: her stepmother Nerve Allen; her husband George W. Smith, Jr.; and her siblings, Fred Allen, Ann Laoudis and Annie Rue Hill.
She is survived by: her half-brothers, Paul Allen of Louisburg, NC and Julian Allen (Myrtle) of Louisburg, NC; her sons, Steven George Smith (Edna) of Topsail Beach, NC and James Allen Smith of Fayetteville, NC; her grandchildren, Steven T. Smith (Karen) of Topsail Beach, NC, Matthew Allen Smith (Shelly) of Concord, NC and Tracy Elizabeth Smith of Fayetteville, NC; her great grandchildren, Sandy Smith of Topsail Beach, NC and Connor Smith of Topsail Beach, NC; and her nieces, Judy Pritchard of Chesapeake, VA and Barbara Kent of Huntsville, AL. She is also survived by nephews; and many dear neighbors and friends.
