She was predeceased by: her father Carl Thomas; her husband Robert Arthur Barefoot; and her siblings, William Everette Taylor and Tereasa Dianne Frakes. She is survived by: her mother Ruby Irene Taylor of Cumberland County; her children, Robert Thomas Barefoot of Raeford and Lisa Barefoot Howell of Raeford; and her grandchildren, Austin Jared Barefoot of Winston Salem, Victoria Katlin Barefoot of Westfield, Gary Carl Taylor (Mary) of Hampton Virginia and David Ancil Taylor (Judy) of Fayetteville. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
