He was predeceased by: his brother Amos Neil Jacobs. He is survived by: his wife Judith Jacobs; his children, Marie Brangerio (Mark) of Connecticut, Ashley Jacobs Lennon (Brian) of South Korea, Jennifer R. Dial (Clayton) of Maxton and Adam Jeffery Jacobs (Keisha) of Lumberton; his mother Sudie Mae Jacobs; and his siblings, Brenda F. Carter, Glenda McNeil (Larry), Belinda Locklear (Jimmy), Mary Ellen Locklear, Malinda Rose Chavis, Linda Sue Locklear, Felinda Locklear (James), Sander Kay Jacobs, Amos Odell Jacobs and Anthony Leon Jacobs (Cindy). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
