It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Morris Palmer of Cumberland, North Carolina, who passed away on October 20, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his aunt Evelina Moore Peters; his wife Daisy Johnson Palmer; his son Maurice Renard Palmer (Germaine Carey); his grandchild Arianne Palmer; his siblings, Frank J. Palmer Jr., Ethel P. Burnes, Ruby P. Magee and Rosemary P. Wright; and his son England. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
