Mary Morris Youmans Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2024, at the age of 94, Mary Morris Youmans of Cullowhee, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sister Mary; her parents, William Leicester Morris and Lila Eugenia Arnold Morris of Collins, Georgia.; and her daughter Rebecca Faye Youmans (Professor Hubert L.). She is survived by: her daughter Marly Youmans Miller of Cooperstown; her son-in-law Michael T; and her grandchildren, Benjamin Francis Miller, Rebecca Beatrice Miller and Nathaniel James Miller.
In lieu of flowers, and remembering Mary's love for mountain birds and plants, the family requests donations be made to the Highlands-Cashiers Land Trust, conservers of Nodding Trillium Garden and Pittilo Family Preserve in Cullowhee.
