He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Brown and Lucy Brown. He is survived by: his cousin Dorothy Broom; his wife Jean Crawford Brown; his children, Matthew, Benjamin and Lucy; his friends, Bob Hicks, Hardy Gregory, Jr., Kice Stone, Lamar W. Sizemore, Jr., Rusty Simpson, Ruth C. Shuler, Martha Christian, Charles R. Adams, III, Chuck Byrd of Harold Ensley, E. V, Jarome E. Gautreaux, Tracey L. Dellacona and Julie Carter; and also, Manley and Sophia Brown. He is also survived by three children, their spouses and six grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM and on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Vineville Baptist Church (2045 Vineville Ave, Macon, GA 31204). A burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cullowhee Baptist Church (148 Central Dr, Cullowhee, NC 28723).
