Linda Jean Bailey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Jean Bailey of Cullowhee, North Carolina, who passed away on January 19, 2025 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Kelly Harmon and Edith Harmon Jr. (Terry); her husband David Bailey; her sister Rose Harmon; and her stepmother Rosie Harmon.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Gail Chastain (Josh) of Walhalla, SC, Edith Mae Bailey (Kevin Florence) of Sylva, NC and David Michael Bailey of Piketon, OH; her brothers, Donnie Harmon (Sandy) of Franklin Furnace, Ronnie Harmon (Joyce) of Ironton, OH, Danny Harmon of Kitts Hill, OH and Jeff Harmon of South Point, OH; her stepsister Gina Rose Ward of Huntington, WV; her grandchildren, Amanda Trader, Destiny Bailey, Daykota Bailey, Mikeylah Bailey, Xyler Bailey and Delsyn Bailey; and her great grandchildren, Gavin, Gabby and Kalista.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Gateway Baptist Church (310 S 6th St, Ironton, OH 45638). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at the Hanging Rock Cemetery.
