We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2024, at the age of 81, Leland Cooper (Cullowhee, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lawrence Cooper and Callie Watson Cooper; his sister Wilma Haskett; his niece Lisa Hudson (Bill); his nephew Phill Looper; his stepdaughters, Tammy (Chad Bryson), Deanna McCall and Korra McCall; and his close friends, Steve and Sharon Houston.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pine Creek Baptist Church (4338 Pine Creek Rd, Cullowhee, NC 28723). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
