He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Nicholson and Genevieve Moody Nicholson; and his siblings, Mary Louise Ball, Peggy Hatcher, Ginger Lovedahl, Tim, Ronnie, Howard and David Nicholson.

He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Nicholson; his granddaughters, Aiden and Ali Klaire Nicholson; and his siblings, Ann Bryson (Bobby Gene), Jimmy Nicholson (Maya), Bobby Nicholson (Delores) and Andy Nicholson.
