It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Darlene Madden of Cullowhee, North Carolina, who passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Madden and Faye Madden (Easley); and her siblings, Alvin Madden, Bill Madden, David Madden, Tryla Boykin, Barbara Cauble and Megan Misner.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Lee (Tina), Candice Hancock (Jerry), Dawn Misner of Cullowhee and Ginger Crisp (David) of Sylva; and her sister Judith Rains of Cullowhee. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
