She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Bishop and Mattie Bishop (Morgan); her husband Elmer Hooper; her siblings, Jane Garner, Edgar, Jess, Ray, Locke, Robert and Charlie Bishop; her daughter Sandra Brinson (Hooper); and her granddaughter Judy Conseen (Brinson).
She is survived by: her son Carl Hooper of Cullowhee, NC; and her grandsons, Bob Brinson of New Bern, NC, Greg Hooper of Falls Church, VA and Brian Hooper of Poughkeepsie, NY. She is also survived by three great grandchildren and a large extended family.
