He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Hooper and Edith Stiwinter Hooper; and his siblings, Junior Hooper, Paul Jennings and Maxine Jennings.
He is survived by: his close friend Patricia Warren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Stewart Cemetery (399 Stewart Cemetary Rd, Cullowhee, NC 28723).
