She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Howell and Maggie Harless Howell; and her brother William Gregory Howell. She is survived by: her son Ryder Howell of Lansing; and her siblings, Debbie Wilcox of West Jefferson and Ricky Howell of Wilkesboro. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
