Spencer Brown Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Spencer Brown (Crumpler, North Carolina), who passed away on May 27, 2018 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Delp Brown; his siblings, Garland Brown, Burl Brown, Dorothy Weaver and Logean Fox; and his half-siblings, Cashie Moore, Virginia Sturgill and Vince Brown.
He is survived by: his daughters-in-law, Larry Brown, Joan Brown of Crumpler, Roger Brown and Brenda Brown of Jefferson; his daughter Kathy Roark of Deep Gap; his son-in-law Meredith Roark of Deep Gap; his grandchildren, Patti Workman (Mark) of Grassy Creek, Katina Wilcox (David) of Crumpler, Brady Brown (Kelly) of Lansing and Angie Roark of Advance, NC; his stepgrandson Devin Phipps (Ashley) of Winston-Salem, NC; and his great grandchildren, Evan Halsey of Hickory, Matt Halsey of Statesville and Savannah Wilcox of Crumpler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
