He was predeceased by: his siblings, Harold, Floyd, Ford Neaves, Pauline Johnson, Maxine Hart and Lorine Hamby.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Wayne Neaves of Sparta and Christine Cruz (Jose) of Jefferson; his sister Meryle Miller of Wilkesboro; and his grandchildren, Preston Osborne (Aimee) of Colorado, Amanda Osborne of Crumpler and Justin Neaves of Lewisville. He is also survived by five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
