She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Vonley and Mary McNeill Phillips; and her husband Paul Harvey Bare, Sr.. She is survived by: her son Paul Bare, Jr. (Nancy); her siblings, Johnny Phillips (Doris) of Jefferson, Blanche Brown (Robert) of West Jefferson, Darlene Phillips of Jefferson and Betty Wood (Lawrence) of Gastonia; her grandchildren, Nicole Satterwhite (Landis) and Jerry Bare of Nathan Creek; and her great grandchildren, Gavin and Audrey Satterwhite. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Boone Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services (2005 Mt Jefferson Rd, West Jefferson, NC 28694). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
