He was predeceased by: his father Fields Absher. He is survived by: his wife Mary Howell Absher; his children, Diana Absher Caldwell (John) of Crumpler and Bobby Steven Absher (Sally) of Knoxville, TN; his sisters, Mary Zell Absher of Crumpler and Mable Dean Absher Murray of Boone; his grandchildren, Benjamin Fields Absher (Stephanie) of Austin, TX and Matthews "Matt" Absher of Knoxville, TN; and his great grandchild Stella Claire Absher.
